Welcome to Troop 201's home page!

Our Troop is a great place for boys and girls to learn and develop skills that will last a lifetime!  Troop 201 is a mixed gender Troop for boys and girls.  We practice Souting America's "Scout led" philosophy and provide opportunities to learn skills such as camping, first aid, cooking, outdoor conservation and life skills like teamwork, leadership, planning, responsibility and more.   We have a full schedule of outings that are determined by the scouts that cover activities like week long summer camps, weekend campouts, hikes, cycling, etc.  We also provide opportunities to challenge our scouts by attending Scouting America's High Adventure camps.  We believe in being an asset to our community, so participate in several community service projects throughout the year.

We meet at Wesley United Methodist Church on Friday’s at 7:00pm about twice a month year around and typically have 1-2 outings per month. Wesley United Methodist Church has hosted our Cub and Scout programs since the 1990's and is located in San Jose’s Japantown at 566 N 5th Street.  While some troops are comprised of members from their local community, Troop 201 has member from all over the Santa Clara Valley ranging from Morgan Hill to Fremont, and out to Sunnyvale and Los Gatos.
