Welcome to Troop 201's home page! 

Our Troop is a great place for boys to learn and develop skills that will last a lifetime!  We practice BSA's "Scout led" philosophy and provide opportunities to learn scouting skills such as camping, first aid, cooking and life skills like teamwork, leadership, planning, responsibility.   We have a full schedule of outings that are determined by the scouts and cover activities like campouts, hikes, fishing, cycling, etc.  We believe in being an asset to our community, so we participate in several community service projects.  

Troop 201 meets at Wesley United Methodist Church on Friday’s at 7:00pm about twice a month year around and typically have 1-2 outings per month. Wesley United Methodist Church has been a sponsoring organization for over 25 years for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and Venture Crew and is located in San Jose’s Japantown at 566 N 5th Street.  While some troops are comprised of members from their local community, Troop 201 has member from all over the Santa Clara Valley ranging from Morgan Hill to Fremont, and out to Sunnyvale and Los Gatos.
